Adult Learners Event: Networking From Your Living Room
A Collaboration Event with the Women's Center & OCSS
Location
Online
Date & Time
November 12, 2020, 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Description
This event centers the experiences of UMBC undergraduate adult learners. An adult learner is an undergraduate student 25 years and older. While many of the Women's Center events center the experience of women and non-binary students, they are excited to partner with Off Campus Student Services and have this event center all genders.
Join UMBC adult learners, faculty, staff and alumni for networking resources and skill-building opportunities right from your living room (or wherever is most comfy!). Throughout this event, participants will learn from guest presenters on the benefits of networking and how to craft an ideal elevator pitch. Additionally, participants will be provided the opportunity to networking with their peers and UMBC faculty, staff, or alum through speed networking rounds.
RSVP is required and is limited to the first 30 students who sign up. Please RSVP via this google link no later than Monday, November 9th.
Please note: UMBC is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive environment for all students, staff, faculty, and visitors. If you have difficulties accessing any of the materials on our site or any of our events or discussions, please contact us so that we can provide an alternative format and/or remedy any accessibility challenges.
