Things to do before the semester begins:
- Respond to messages from your Woolie and other student leaders
- Complete the required modules such as Alcohol Wise
- Save the date for Involvement Fest, and keep an eye out for updates on this key event!
- Buy a UMBC shirt at the UMBC Bookstore
- Look over the events for Welcome Week
- Fill out the Mandatory Health Forms through Retriever Integrated Health (RIH)
- Buy/Rent Residence Hall Room Supplies like (Bedlofts) and (MicroFridges)
- Register your vehicle for parking
- Review Transit bus routes and maps
- Review class schedule and buy books
- Decorate your workspace with UMBC swag
- Visit the Off-Campus Student Services (OCSS) site if you are a commuter or transfer student
