Description
From nursery rhymes to wedding songs, music surrounds us. The question is: What does music mean to you? Bring your unique answer imbued with your life experience to TED Tunes at UMBC, hosted by Off-Campus Student Services! Interested applicants can submit either a written document (1 page maximum) or a video (approx. 1-2 mins) where they pitch their topic and why they feel like their story should be selected, and it can be attached to the following form: Speaker Interest Form. The deadline for applications is Friday, January 29, 2021, and we will then narrow down the list and inform selected participants on February 1st! TED Tunes itself will occur on Friday, February 12 via Webex (with more details to come), and all are welcome to attend, regardless of whether or not you wish to participate!
