Transfer Welcome Day - Winter 2017

Get Retriever Ready with an interactive opportunity for information and connections. Join other UMBC students, community college ambassadors, and Transfer Student Network mentors for an engaging experience to help you prepare for your UMBC journey.

All new transfer students are invited to attend. The day will start on the third floor of The Commons at UMBC with information and opportunities to meet other new UMBC transfer students.  Staff and students will provide important information about classes and transfer credits.  Lunch will be provided, then students will get a chance to do a fun team-building event at the National Aquarium in the Inner Harbor in Baltimore.  The day ends at 5pm back on campus.  All expenses are covered for this event.   Transfer Welcome Day will feature an opportunity to meet other new transfer students and talk with Transfer Student Network peer mentors who can help you successfully navigate your first semester at UMBC.
