Description
Off-Campus Student Services will be hosting an Adult Learner Welcome and Happy Hour on Wednesday, August 31st, 2016. We strongly encourage all new and current Adult Learner students to attend these event(s), as this is a wonderful way to become knowledgeable about UMBC and meet new people!
Adult Learner Welcome session: FREE dinner is provided. You will be able to ask questions to our panel of representatives from various departments/offices on campus, including the Learning Resource Center, Office of Undergraduate Education, The Women's Center, and Undergraduate Research. Be sure to think of some questions to ask!
Adult Learner and Veteran Happy Hour: Both Adult Learners and Veterans will be able to mingle and meet new people. This takes place immediately after the Adult Learner Welcome. Desserts will be served and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
