National First-Gen Day

Did you know that one-third of UMBC students are considered first-generation college students? 

First-generation consists of students whose parent(s) did not complete a four-year college degree.

Are you a first gen student? You are currently on the path to changing your legacy ... And that is something to be celebrated!
